I'm in LOVE with my new loveseat!

Remember the post where I talked about buying a new love seat?  Well it came today and it is way nicer than anything I actually tried out in the store. Plus the color is nicer that what showed up on my computer screen. Plus it is so friggin' comfortable I may live in this damn thing.

It is a power recliner loveseat (with USB ports!). Each seat reclines separately, and, get this, the back reclines by moving forward - the concept is called 'wall-away' - so you don't need this to be miles away from a wall. You can adjust just the head rest, or just the foot rest. OMG this is the greatest thing since sliced bread! The leather is primo and the seat and back are firm. Firm! Just the way I like it. (I hate soft, cushy, mushy seating and bedding).

Here's a few pics - including my husband's big ugly brown recliner - (the little side pillows I already had.)

  1. I love your love seat. It too has everything but a catheter just like Rick's.😀 only yours is far better looking!!! I really like it. I must admit I do like the lumbar support on his chair. And I too hate when its not firm. Dear Lord Grace that sounded dirty! I think I'll stop now.

    1. LOL And get aload of my husband's honking big, ugly recliner. I may wind up living in this thing, I can't remember when I sat on something so comfortable!

  2. It's very nice! Love the features! So happy you have a place to sit comfortably now. Question is, does Miss Frankie like it? :)

    1. Now see, only a cat person would know to ask that question LOL She's still a little iffy about it. I put her little step stool in front of it so she could get up, she did but she's not sure how this will all work out - poor little thing!

  3. The loveseat looks so comfortable and fits the space beautifully. I noticed your office area is in the same location as mine but I hadn't thought to define it like you have with the art grouping, I like it. :)

    1. Thank you. That loveseat is a marvel of design! It's only 63" long, we were going to fit it into that little bump out (on the right in the photo) but then it would have impinged on my husband's recliner space - the tv is on the opposite wall to the loveseat and angled to my husband's recliner. The 'office space' you noted is my husband's. He has 2 desks for his 2 computers, one work, one personal. And, yes, I purposely hung my husband's family photographs in that space to more define it as his. Originally his 2 desks were at a right angle to form an "L" shape but that didn't really work, which is why the photos aren't more spread out across the space. I didn't feel like re-hanging the photos after we decided on the lateral desk configuration.

  4. That loveseat looks wonderful, Grace. So does your hubby's recliner. I love all the light coming in to that room. ~Andrea

    1. Hubby's recliner is called "The Beast" and it is - it's huge, I can't sit in it it's so big, my feet don't reach the floor! The living room faces NW and we get a tremendous amount of light in the afternoon - these photos were taken around 2pm -

    1. I totally lucked out. I didn't get to sit in it as it was not on display at the store I visited and while I swore I would never buy a piece of furniture I couldn't try out first I took a chance and boy was I super lucky. Everything on display in the store was not available until the end of December into the new year but this one, on-line was delivered in less than a week! Silly salesman, if he had been smart enough to do a search he could have offered us this and probably earned a commission. I've got a good mind to go back to the store and tell him.
